As part of the database team, responsible for gift entry, donor acknowledgment, event registration and data entry for constituents in the Blackbaud CRM database. Enters and updates biographical and gift data on donors, prospects and constituents in an accurate and timely manner. Manages event registration for fundraising events and complete report requests as assigned. Assists with special projects as necessary. Some travel may be required.

This is very responsible public healthy supervisory work involving participation in and supervision of public health inspections and the enforcement of public health regulations.
Work involves responsibility for safeguarding community health through the inspection of public facilities and the enforcement of public health regulations. Duties include planning, directing and coordinating the efforts of a small unit of professionals (Sanitarians), inspecting and reporting conditions at food service establishments and day care facilities, housing complaints, litter problems, sewage systems problems, rodent control and public swimming pool and public swimming beach water quality. The position also has the responsibility for making difficult technical decisions which require selection of different processes or procedures depending upon highly variable circumstances of individual cases or situations. The work requires that the employee have considerable knowledge, skill and ability in public health, sanitation, environmental inspection methods and practices. Acts on behalf of the Director of Public Health in the absence of that individual.
A bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in environmental health or a closely related field, plus five years of progressively responsible experience in field of environmental health.
Must be a State of Connecticut Registered Sanitarian.
Must be certified in food service inspection and sub-surface sewage disposal inspection.
Must have a valid Connecticut driver's license.
Salary Range: $37.30 -$40.40/hr 35 hours per week
